Reference Number 0000377295 This Project consists of the improvements to Maplewood Park Trail Improvements, generally between Driving Park Avenue and the Veterans Memorial Bridge. The scope of the base bid work consists of the construction of an asphalt trail section along the unpaved length of the existing trail, segments of trail realignment and reconstruction, fence replacement along the trail, installation of a retaining wall to construct an accessible trail connection beneath the Driving Park Avenue bridge, pedestrian railing, associated drainage improvements, upgrade of sidewalk curb ramps, and installation of trail signage throughout. Add alternate bid #1 includes milling and repaving sections of existing trail beneath the Driving Park Avenue bridge. Add alternate bid #2 includes a segment of trail realignment and reconstruction adjacent to the Bridge View Drive crossing.
