As of September 12, 2022, project was awarded to Axis Civil Construction, awarded amount is $2,092,890.58. The City of Dublin may choose to not award the bid--and bidders shall hold bids open--until sixty days after the bid opening. The work for which bids are invited consists of: Removal of existing 40 ft. single-span box beam bridge on wall type abutments on spread footings; installation of 42.5 ft. singlespan box beam bridge on semi-integral abutments on spread footings; 144 ft. of 8" water line; storm sewer; asphalt pavement; sidewalk; removal and replacement of traffic signal; and guardrail. ODOT pre-qualification required for prospective bidders. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be complete by December 9, 2022. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this Project. The City of Dublin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
