Site work for a water / sewer project in Charles Town, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a 100% Performance and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the bid, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.After opening, the bids will be compared as to quality, thoroughness, and cost by the Owner, and Architect/Engineer (ZMM ARCHITECTS ENGINEERS). Lump sum bids are being solicited for Work included in the above referenced Bid Item for the Project indicated. All questions prior to bid must be made through Brenda McKinney of ZMM at bmckinney@zmm.com. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of a bidder, and to the extent permitted by state law; Jefferson County Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to make selections from the bids that are solely in the best interest of Jefferson County Schools. Documents available after June 1, 2022.
