Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of August 1, 2022 this project has been awarded to Rousseau Brothers Inc. with the amount of $59,978.58. Replace the underground network vault cover #459, located in the sidewalk in front of 267 High St across from Korean Veterans Plaza, with a 7'x14'10" galvanized steel vault top set in concrete supplied by HG&E. The existing cover consists of two cement doors, four concrete slabs and two ventilation grates. The low voltage network cables in each vault have to remain energized during construction. Please note that primary network cables will remain energized. HG&E will provide traffic control and install protective covering as needed (such as rubber mats) for the vault. The network transformer and protector will be removed for maintenance while the contractor replaces the vault top cover. All Bidders are required to submit a bid deposit equal to 5% of the total value of their bid. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond equal to 50% of the total contract value.
