PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SERVICES REQUESTED
Replacement of the entire cooling tower system:
o Option 1 - replace the two existing cooling towers, associated piping, pumps, valving and equipment along with an existing flat plate heat exchanger and condensate piping.
o Option 2 - investigation into utilizing chilled water from the Board of Water & Light: availability of the
utility, the necessary equipment and associated cost.
o Project to include Phase 300, Schematic Design and Phase 500, construction documents.
o The PSC will be responsible to run all design meetings and provide notes for each meeting. There
shall be a 50% and 90% review meeting minimum for Phases 300 and 500.
o The PSC will be responsible to submit to LARA etc. with fees under reimbursables.
o The PSC will be responsible to conduct construction progress meetings twice per month and
complete field inspections on the same day if applicable for the duration of the project.
o Detailed cost estimates will be required at each 90% phase review meetings.
o General AutoCAD files will be available to the awarded PSC. NIGP CODES

Send the LEIN Request form, filled and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: smithD76@michigan.gov . The email "Subject" must include (facility name, project name, date and time of Pre-Proposal Walk Through Meeting).
