Renovation of a municipal facility in Watertown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
UNITS 91 -98 Watertown Housing Authority (WHA) herein called the Owner, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the above listed project. The project shall be bid out as (1) prime contract: General Construction The scope of work includes but is not limited to renovation of Building 9 which includes a boiler room addition. Interior work includes, new finishes, cabinetry and new mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid opening time or any publicized postponement thereof. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Owner, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or acceptable Sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The successful bidder will be required to submit documentation of compliance with the NYS Sexual Harassment policy. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner
