Three percent (3%) of total labor hours paid in conjunction with contracted construction work must be paid to individuals residing in zip codes situated no more than five miles from the perimeter of the geographic boundary of the 19401 zip code. Questions Due Date: Jun 10th 2022, 4:00 PM EDT Bid Security Shall Be Made Payable to the Owner, in the Amount of 10 Percent (10%) of the Base Bid Plus the Cost of All Alternates. Security Shall Be Either a Certified Check, Bank Cashiers Check or Bid Bond Issued by a Surety Licensed to Conduct Business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Within ten (10) days of receipt of the Notice of Intent to Award, the successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond on the forms provided in the Bidding Documents, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The cost of the Performance Bond and the Payment Bond must be included in the bid amount. The Owner has the right to reject bids, which are not responsive, and to not award to any bidder which is deemed to be not responsible.
