Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Tasiujaq, Quebec. Working plans call for the addition of a 17,300-square-foot, two-story above grade, 12-room educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and 29,000-square-foot educational facility.
Expansion and renovation of Adjagutak elementary/high school located in à Tasiujaq of Nunavik. The scope of the project includes the construction of an approximately 1,600 m2 addition and renovation of 2,700 m2 of existing building areas. The proposed addition will house nine high education classrooms, a library, a science laboratory, a meeting room, offices, administrative and specialized rooms. Note. The project is included in the list of major projects of the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat under number 698. TIMELINE: The project development was temporarily stopped at the stage of working drawings due to funding constraints and the need to make 200-million-dollar budget compression to the Quebec school funding system. Timelines for a tender and construction are being finalized. Further update in spring/summer 2026.
