Renovation of a municipal facility in Belvidere, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,322-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.
The approximate major work items include: The renovation of the existing corridor ceilings in the Courthouse will be comprised of installing new soffits and acoustical ceiling grid and tiles, along with hard ceiling gypsum board portions on metal framing supports. The first floor is a total of 2,504 s.f. and the second floor is a total of 1,598 s.f. New light fixtures will be installed and soffit materials painted by the County. The Contractor will be responsible for the repositioning of existing emergency exit signage and emergency lighting and coordinate with the County on repositioning of existing security fixtures, cameras, wifi units and alarm units. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond and made payable to the order of Warren County Treasurer's Office, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid; provided said check or bid bond shall not exceed $20,000.00 The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities or informalities in the bids. The Contractor is put on notice that he must pay workers the prevailing wage rates promulgated by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry for this project, pursuant to Chapter 150, Laws of 193 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et. seq.). Bids may be mailed to the Purchasing Department, Wayne Dumont Jr. Administration Building, with the requirements of P.L. 1975 C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) (Affirmative Action); P.L. 1977, C. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) (Stockholder Disclosure Certification); P.I. 2003, C91 (The Public Works Contractor Registration Act); and P.I. 2004, C57 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) (Contractor Business Registration Act).
