The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) owns and operates six mental health hospitals located around Ohio. Those facilities are of varying; age, patient capacity, suitability, operating cost, capital need and are located on varying campus sites. OhioMHAS intends to catalog each of the capital and operating issues by importance for review by decision makers. In addition, OhioMHAS is interested in studying how well it serves Ohioans by determining geographical demand compared to existing capacity, along with how those needs may have changed over time and how they may be expected to change.
