Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of constructing new sidewalks and restoring existing sidewalks to provide continuous compliant pedestrian connectivity. Q And A Close6/11/2022 3:30:00 AM SC-01 GENERAL. The work to be accomplished on this project consists of constructing new sidewalks, ramps, curb and gutter, and pavement at various locations within the aerial map file "Meadows Elementary School Area Sidewalks". SC-02 SPECIFICATIONS. All work shall conform to the City of Topeka Technical Standard Specifications. NOTE: All concrete shall be bid as Pavement Class-A SC-03 4" CONCRETE SIDEWALK. This bid item shall include all work necessary to construct new concrete sidewalk as shown on the plans, including all subgrade compaction efforts. SC-04 6" CONCRETE SIDEWALK. This bid item shall include all work necessary to remove existing residential driveway pavement and construct new 6" concrete sidewalk through driveways. SC-05 8" CONCRETE SIDEWALK. This bid item shall include all work necessary to remove existing commercial driveway/alley approach pavement through the sidewalk area and construct new 8" concrete pavement through these areas. SC-06 6" CONCRETE SIDEWALK RAMP. This bid item shall include all work necessary to construct ADA compliant sidewalk ramps. SC-07 COMBINED CURB & GUTTER, TYPE (Varies). This bid item shall include all work necessary to remove and replace the specific type of curb & gutter. ("Varies" shall be Type I, II, III or IV). SC-08 6" CONCRETE EDGE CURB. This bid item shall include all work necessary to construct an edge curb with the sidewalk. SC-09 7" REINFORCED CONCRETE WITH 2" ASPHALT CAP. This bid item shall include all work necessary to install a concrete base with a 2" asphalt cap. SC-10 CLEAN-UP AND RESTORATION OF DISTRURBED AREAS. All disturbed areas of this project include all work necessary to grade, till, seed, fertilize, mulch, and clean-up the disturbed areas per Section 4.19 of the Standard Technical Specifications. SC-11 COMBINED CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND RETAINING WALL. This bid item shall include all work necessary to construct a combined concrete sidewalk and retaining wall
