Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Elevator Controls for Westnor Apartments Housing Authority of the City of Fond du Lac 653 West Arndt Street Fond du Lac, WI 54935 The project consists of replacing the controls to two existing elevators at Westnor Apartments. A Single lump sum bid will be received for all work: 1. General Construction Work Specifications are available at the Fond du Lac Housing Authority office. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish one of the following Assurance Completion Documents: a. 100% Performance/Payment Bond b. 50% Performance Bond, 50% Payment Bond c. 20% Cash Escrow d. 25% Irrevocable Letter of Credit from an approved bank. HUD Form 5369A - Representatives, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. For all contracts in the amount of $10,000.00 or more, the Contractor will be required to submit an Affirmative Action Program demonstrating his willingness not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The Affirmative Action Program shall: 1. Identify areas of employment, employment policies and practices which require action by the Contractor or Subcontractor to assure equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. 2. Analyze these areas, policies and practices to determine what actions by the Contractor or Subcontractor will be most effective in assuring equal opportunity; and 3. Establish a plan to achieve employment opportunity through these actions identified as potentially most effective. All Contractors and Subcontractors will be required to comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and to submit an Affirmative Action Program demonstrating his willingness to train and employ, to the greatest extent feasible, lower-income residents of the HUD-assisted project area and utilize businesses located in the HUD assisted area. The Fond du Lac Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities.
