Scope of Work: The Village of Lombard requests bids for 2022 Surface Treatment Program for work to be performed throughout the corporate limits of the Village of Lombard. The work will include the application of a preservative rejuvenating agent on approximately 160,000 square yards at various locations throughout the Village of Lombard. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check, made payable to the Village of Lombard, for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance bond and a contract bond in the full amount of the bid. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/). Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, by fax transmission or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Lombard reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Village. Contractors will have until 4:00 pm on June 1, 2022, to submit written questions to the Village on any remaining topics prior to submitting a bid on June 7, 2022.
