The intent and purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish an annual contract for the purchase and delivery of the following water treatment chemicals: aqua ammonia and liquid chlorine. The contractor shall be thoroughly acquainted with the sites for the proposed bid to fully understand the facilities, difficulties and restrictions to the execution of the bid. The contractor will not be allowed additional compensation for failure to be so informed. This is not a contract for a one-time shipment of chemicals. Throughout the terms of the contract TRWD will place individual orders for different quantities of the chemicals listed on the bid form as needed. Liquid Chlorine 19% Aqua Ammonia (ammonium hydroxide in water solution, 19% in mass) Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Website. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Website will be posted on the website by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day June 1, 2022.
