This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: concrete sidewalk removal and replacement; combination curb and gutter removal and replacement; and other appurtenant work on various street segments throughout the Village limits. State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor Pre-Qualification/Registration is required. This work is subject to the wage provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. 820 ILCS 130/0/01 et seq. and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act. 820 ILCS 265/1 et seq relative to prevailing wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any Public Works as amended by Public Acts 86799 and 86693. The Village of Buffalo Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities. All bid proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days. The Village reserves the right to award to any bidder based on negotiation with any and all bidders after receipt of bids.
