Renovation of a municipal facility in Dalton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Awarded to QT Contracting Inc DBA Powers Heating and Air for $260,906 The GA Department of Public Safety (DPS) needs the HVAC duct system at GA State Patrol (GSP) Post 5 - Dalton. Replace 5 complete duct system, (3) 5-ton duct systems, (1) 4-ton duct system, (1) 3-ton duct system. Remove all existing duck work and dispose of properly. Install completely new metal trunk line. Install completely new duct return. Install completely new duct transitions to existing equipment. Leave all existing equipment in place. All ductwork will need to be replaced. If duct work passes through sheet rock or acoustical ceiling, repair to these areas need to be included in proposal. ALL WORK WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, labor, supervision, permits, & other necessary things to complete the HVAC duct system. Contractors must provide proof of liability insurance with DPS as the certificate holder. Make sure you are registered with the Dept. of Revenue and are current with any tax payments as this is part of being a responsible supplier to be awarded a bid No bonds are anticipated - only if bid is $100,000 or greater then Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of bid are required. Contractors should upload as a separate document any discounts for early payment.
