Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Swainsboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) needs to asphalt the parking lot at GA State Patrol, Post 19 Swainsboro. The parking lot is approximately 3550 sq yards or 32,000sq ft. Measurements are estimates only, Bidders are responsible for exact measurements. Post 19 - Swainsboro is located at 994 Hwy 1 Swainsboro, GA, 30401. The work includes mill out, remove, and dispose of current asphalt surface, Grade any areas disturbed by milling process, install new asphalt surface including 1 1/2 -2 inches of new asphalt, striping needs to be included in scope of work (standard size parking space). The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, labor, supervision, permits, & other necessary things to complete the paving project. Work shall begin within four (4) weeks of award notice. Other documents are attached that also must be completed and uploaded to bid. Read the instructions carefully. No bonds are anticipated - only if bid is $100,000 or greater then Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of bid are required. Contractors should upload as a separate document any discounts for early payment. Contractors must provide proof of liability insurance with DPS as the certificate holder. Make sure you are registered with the Dept. of Revenue and are current with any tax payments as this is part of being a responsible supplier to be awarded a bid.
