TV Studio Upfit in Durham County Admin II Building The work contemplated will include procurement, installation, and programming of the stand-alone TV Studio in the Durham County Admin II Building. Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. Last Date for Questions June 10, 2022, at 3:30 P.M., Eastern Time Questions concerning administrative matters should be directed to Hilda W. Williams, Senior Procurement Specialist, at (919) 560-0054. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE). The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County. Contract completion time for all work on this project is for 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work within the designated time will result in the assessment of liquidated damages in the amount of $50 per calendar day
