Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
As of July 15, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 26, 2022. This project includes, but is not limited to the replacement of Administration Building Roof and Pump Station #1FF, #2S & #4S roofs. The Administration Building existing roof is a low slope roof with fully adhered EPDM rubber. Pump Station #1FF existing roof is a 8:12 pitch gable roof with asphalt shingles. Pump Station #2S existing roof is a 4:12 pitch gable roof with asphalt shingles. Pump Station #4S existing roof is a low slope roof with fully adhered EPDM rubber. There are NO Asbestos Containing Roof Materials (ACRM) present at any of the roofs included in this project. Complete asbestos inspection reports are included with the bid documents. The Administration Building roof requires new fully adhered EPDM Rubber Roof System including tapered polyiso insulation and all necessary appurtenances. Pump Station #1FF and #2S roofs require new asphalt shingle roof systems including all necessary appurtenances. An Alternate Bid utilizing a standing seam metal panel roofing system is being requested for Pump Station #1FF and #2S as well. Pump Station #4S roof requires new fully adhered EPDM Rubber Roof System including tapered polyiso insulation and all necessary appurtenances. - The Administration Building is approx. 2,027 sq. ft. (Located at the WWTP, 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706, enter at WVSA Drive Guardhouse) - Pump Station #1FF is approx. 296 sq. ft. (Located at 44 West Pettebone Street, Forty-Fort, PA 18704) - Pump Station #2S is approx. 706 sq. ft. (Located at 84 Scott Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704) - Pump Station #4S is approx. 160 sq. ft. (Located near 191 Kossack Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704) Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority. At the option of the Bidder, the Bid Bond may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond (at par value) or a Bid Bond on the form provided in the contract documents. Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, and to waive any informalities, defects or irregularities, or any part or parts thereof. Prior to the opening of the Bids Contractors are urged to bring their own ladders to access the roofs. The successful contractor will have (60) days to complete the entire project after receipt of the Notice to Proceed from WVSA.
