Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Saybrook, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for which bids are asked includes the following: 75,000 Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank and related structural, site work and connecting water main. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. Bidders may modify or withdraw their bid prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest McLean County prevailing wage rate available at the time of bid opening. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. OWNER reserves the right to select Alternate Bids that best meet their project goals.
