OK40309-005 - TURNER TURNPIKE UNDERGROUND POWER RELOCATION 1. This project consists of approximately 500 feet of horizontal directional drilling, installation of two 6" HDPE, and three 750 MCM AL 15 kV EPR cables under the Turner Turnpike near Old Stroud Road. Termination of cables, installation of junction boxes, risers, and additional equipment, as well as retirement of the existing overhead line will be the responsibility of the overhead contractor. The Owner reserves the right for cable pulls to be completed by Overhead Contractor if in the best interest of the Owner. 2. Pulling eyes, lubricant, etc. to be furnished by Bidder, unless otherwise noted in the Bid Book. Owner to provide HDPE and cables. 3. The Owner shall have the right to deduct and retain the sum of $500.00 per day for each and every day completion of the construction is delayed beyond 45 calendar days. Actual start date will be dependent upon delivery of material. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Bid documents must be filled out in ink or type-written. No alterations or interlineations will be permitted, unless made before submission and initialed and dated. The City of Stroud reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid and to award to the Bidder, who in the opinion of City of Stroud offers the Proposal which appears in the best interest of City of Stroud.
