Reference Number 0000224738 Source ID PU.MU.MB.559625.C105181 Bid Intent Not Available The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the supply and delivery of pumping equipment and valves as described in D2.2. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Pumps: (i) supply and delivery of two (2) one hundred fifty-four (154) litres per second (L/s) pumps at approximately 10.7 metres (m) Total Dynamic Head, complete with motors, drive shafts, drive shaft guards, pump suction elbows, supports, instruments and spare parts. The pumps shall be installed in a dry well and the motor shall be installed higher up in a motor room. A pump that is submersible style pump where the motor is connected directly to the pump will not be acceptable; (ii) supply of tools, accessories and spare parts; and (iii) initial start-up inspection and on-site testing for pumping equipment. (b) Resilient Seated Non-Rising Stem Gate Valves: (i) one (1) two hundred fifty (250) millimetres (mm) gate valves - manually actuated. (c) Resilient Seated Rising Stem Gate Valves: (i) two (2) three hundred (300) mm gate valves - manually actuated; (ii) one (1) three hundred fifty (350) mm gate vales - manually actuated; and (iii) two (2) two hundred fifty (250) mm gate valves - manually actuated. (d) Check Valves: (i) two (2) two hundred fifty (250) mm check valves with "hold-open" device. (e) two (2) days of on-site training for all of the equipment supplied under the Contract; (f) five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy of the Operations and Maintenance Manuals; and (g) attend a warranty site visit and correct any deficiencies. The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder's direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing. The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect his/her Bid or his/her performance of the Work, and shall assume allng or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
