As of 7/27/2022, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Health and Human Services Commission ("Owner"), for and on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division ("HSCS"), is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("Proposals") for selection of a General Contractor ("Contractor") to provide general construction and construction administration services to the Owner for Project No. 20-119-RLC, Richmond State Supported Living Center, Covered Walkways Asbestos Abatement and Lead Paint Removal (the "Project"), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Solicitation. Project Summary: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: This project includes the asbestos abatement and lead paint removal on the existing covered walkways. The asbestos is located in the abandoned steam pipes located on top of the existing covered walkways. The steel members of the existing covered walkways have lead-based paint that is loose and flaking. The existing covered walkways run across most of the Richmond campus. Project Estimate: The approximate cost for construction of the Project is $2,500,000.00. Anticipated Notice of Award Tuesday, 10/4/2022 Anticipated Contract Start Date Wednesday, 11/30/2022 Deadline for submission of HSP Thursday, 7/7/2022 by 10:30 A.M
