Contractors who bid must be licensed to do work in the State of North Carolina under the Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting. The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County The successful Bidder, upon award of the Contract, shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project shall require the following telecom infrastructure renovations:
A. New fiber backbone for all eight (8) building telecom rooms.
B. Renovation of all building telecom rooms.
The Project shall require the following audio-visual system renovations:
A. Replacement of all audio-visual systems in District Court Rooms #1C33 & #1C19.
B. Upgrade of audio-visual systems in Conference Room #1C45.
C. Upgrade of audio-visual systems in Training Room #2C16 & Muster Room #2C18 BASE CONTRACT: The Work includes furnishing of all materials and labor necessary for the completion of the Project: Low Voltage & Audio Visual Systems - Durham County Detention Facility Renovation - Phase 1 as shown on the plans and as outlined in these specifications. The scope includes allwork indicated or implied by the drawings or specifications.
