**As of June 28, 2022, the School Department rejected all bids. No definite time for rebid.** Cafeteria Roof Re-shingling/Gym Roof Coating 1. Cafeteria Roof-Peaked shingled roof closest structure to Castle Road-South/West a. Tear off all existing shingles b. Correct, repair, replace any sheathing boards as needed c. Install new metal drip edge on all roof edges d. Install ice and water shield on the entire roof surface e. Install insulation wrap on the entire roof surface f. Install new architect shingles wind nailed on entire roof surface g. Install a shingle cap wind nailed on the peak h. All trash and debris to be contained and removed from the property Wind resistant installation techniques to be used 2. Gym Roof - Roof Restoration-Rolled and Tar Roof, North/East-back of building a. Clean and repair existing roof substrate b. Repair all damaged seams with rubber-based material c. Repair and cover any existing holes in roofing d. Repair and replace roof cap as needed e. Repair and coat all flashing f. Prepare entire roof and flashing for final coating g. Apply white silicone roof coating over entire roof and flashing h. All trash and debris to be contained and removed from the property The Town of Nahant, School Committee, acting through its agents, reserves the right to accept this bid by item, as a whole or reject any and all bids, if deemed advisable.
