Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work generally includes the following components: - Demolition and removal of existing timber and steel railing bridge; - Construct a 3-span prestressed concrete deck SARM bridge - 2 x 12 m and 1 x 15 m spans x 8.5 m total width; - Piles, abutments, approach railing, bridge guardrails, road approach raising and widening; - Temporary cofferdams; - Class A rip rap; and - Compliance with all permits. Drawings and Specifications may be obtained from the office of the Engineer only. All addenda, request for clarification and other tender information will be issued from the office of the Engineer only. All requests shall be directed to the Engineer. The Project shall attain Substantial Performance prior to October 21, 2022. Tenders must be accompanied by a Letter of Consent issued by a duly licensed Surety Company AND a Bid Bond OR Certified Cheque OR e-bond in the amount of Ten Percent of the Total Tender Price made payable to the R.M. of Lakeside No. 338.
