Renovation of a municipal facility in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The cost range for the Project is: $1,000,000 - $2,000,000. A brief description ofthe scope ofwork was reviewed and summarized as follows: a. Replacement of 87 fire hydrants, hydrant lead, valves, tee, and appurtenances. b. Relocation of 13 fire hydrants, hydrant lead, valves, tees, and appurtenances. Hydrants to be relocated are listed as such in Appendix F. Any fire hydrant replacement shall only be considered a "Relocation" if the Contractor will be required to abandon the existing fire hydrant at the tee, and shall install a new fire hydrant using a new tee connection at the water main. c. Replacement of 25 fire hydrants only. The County will determine if a hydrant/valve/tee will be replaced orjust the hydrant prior to the contractor scheduling the replacement. For bidding purposes, assume all 100 hydrants will be replaced/relocated.
