The City is seeking to develop a roster of qualified contractors for Assessment and Abatement Services. This could include a multitude of properties from small residential dwellings to large commercial buildings. The scope of work includes high, moderate and low risk asbestos abatement procedures. Coordination of work with City staff and City appointed representatives will be required. The suppliers would be called out on "as required, if required" basis. There is no minimum or guaranteed number of hours available. Typically, the suppliers would be called when the Building Standards & Inspections branch receives service requests, or calls, from internal and/or external stakeholders. The term of the Master Framework Agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years. Should the RFSQ fail to prequalify sufficient number of respondents, the City, at the City's discretion, may choose to void this RFSQ and will be free from obligation to tender any contract for the work. Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by: Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
