Renovation of a medical facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Mobile County Health Department (MCHD) is currently soliciting sealed bids for our Project Keeler Family Health Center 450KW Generator. A portion of this project will be funded using $398,569.00 of Federal Funds. The Mobile County Health Department (MCHD) is currently soliciting sealed bids for natural gas backup generators of the Keeler Family Health Center located at 251 N Bayou St Mobile, AL 36603. This project will include but not limited to the removal of debris, walls, windows, doors, and other construction materials. Contractors will be responsible for rebuilding the interior and some exterior based on the construction documents / Job Scope provided by MCHD. Install 1- 450KW Natural Gas fueled modular power system. This will consist of 3- 150KW generators with paralleling controller Includes 1- 1200-amp open transition, service entrance rated automatic transfer switch Includes remote annunciator to indicate when this unit is running or is in fault. Includes concrete pad large enough to house all three generators. This pad will be curbed for protection. You will lose at least 7' 4" o the existing drive Includes elevated mounting stands for each generator. We will mount generator base at 48" to match existing height of existing generator. This will put the base of the generator at 48" above asphalt drive Includes 4- 6" concrete bollards to protect bollards from traffic. Incoming natural gas pricing by others. Included a cost to redirect a gas line that interferes with the location of the automatic transfer switch. We will raise the line and reconnect. Includes APCO overtime fees to do the service swap over. Includes temporary generator (50KW) and all fuel necessary for two-week transition. We will have to demo existing 50KW generator to prep the site for new generators and the temporary generator will take the place of the generator we are removing. We will use the existing transfer switch temporarily mounted in a different, accessible location. Bid bond should be included. Includes repair of existing main feeders. Existing conduit is broken and needs repair. Conductors from transformer to new transfer switch will be reused. All feeders will be run in the building so there will be no concrete/asphalt cut & patch needed at that portion of the drive. Includes remote monitoring module as requested. Includes the removal and relocation of the existing (Kohler Generators) 50kw. Relocate the Kohler Generator to Vector Control or Building 6. Run conduit and pour slab for the relocated Kohler Generators 50kw (as needed). Bidders eligible to bid must not be on the U.S. General Services Administration list of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement or Non-Procurement Programs.
