The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City. A ten percent (10%) Maintenance Bond (2-year) is required for this project.The right is reserved by the City of Rockwall to reject any and all bids.
