The vegetation has reclaimed these lines making accessing the poles for maintenance difficult. The brush along these lines consists of 90% willows with a height of approximately 3-5 meters. Attached site assessment photos provide location, vegetation types and density. Hand slashing around poles to a distance of three meters is required. There may also be some wet sections that will require hand slashing by use of chainsaw or brush saw. Hand slashed vegetation shall be placed where it can be accessed by mulcher or hydro axe or manually removed from site.
