Site work for a water / sewer project in Dubuque, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will connect two pressure zones with a pump station to transfer potable water from pressure zone 3 (New Roosevelt Water Tower) to pressure zone 4 (City's west side). This water main route eliminates water being pumped through the 1st pressure zone (Downtown) skipping a whole pressure zone, thus saving the City Electrical costs ($20,000.00/year). It will provide a more direct route to get City water more efficiently from the Water Treatment Plant to the City's west side. The project is included in the city's 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
