Chandler Arterial Congestion Monitoring All solicitation questions must be emailed to Paula Brown at paula.brown@chandleraz.gov, no later than 5:00 p.m. local Arizona time on June 13, 2022 Work under this contract includes: installation of Anonymous Re-Identification Devices (ARID) and communication equipment to gauge traffic speeds and assist in identifying congestion on City streets. Currently, most East Valley municipalities have ARID devices. Installation of these ARID devices will facilitate the calculation of travel times within Chandler and across City boundaries. These ARID devices can also combine existing Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) freeway travel time data with the City's arterial data and disseminate travel time, speed, and congestion levels to the public in the form of an online map or arterial signs. The travel speed information will be integrated into the Regional Archive Database System (RADS) that will expand the congestion mapping. Work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The Engineers Estimate range is $ 500,000 - $ 1,000,000. Full Environmental Report is available upon request Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the City of Chandler, Arizona, or a certified or cashier's check The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Chandler. All Bids will remain open for 90 days after the Bid opening day, but the CITY may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the bid security prior to that date *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
