The King County Housing Authority is accepting proposals from qualified, licensed FLOORING Companies to provide services at eight (8) King County Housing Authority properties. Provide a comprehensive flooring replacement service for the installation and removal (including disposal) of floor coverings and related items in common areas at eight (8) of KCHA's family and senior/disabled mid-rise apartment buildings (up to 6 floors) located throughout King County. Contracted services to include, but are not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing flooring, replacement/installation of commercial carpet, carpet tiles (CT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), rubber anti-slip coin tiles, rubber anti-slip coin tile stair treads & risers, rubber cove base, along with metal & rubber transitions/reducers; and any permitting (where required by law). Typical replacement areas will be in; common area hallways, stairwells, community rooms and select office spaces.
