To provide Trimming and Mowing Services for an estimated 86 or 100.8 acres on an as needed basis, for the City of Lee's Summit's closed Landfill area The awarded Contractor must be in business no less than five (5) years of which, of which shall include the operating of tractors or agricultural equipment with mower decks or brush hogs. The awarded Contractor shall also have references comparable to the City's specifications. Note: No Subcontractors shall be permitted. If awarded, the contract may be awarded for one year with the potential of four (4) one-year renewals. It is the City's intent for this contract to begin in Summer of 2022. Bids must be in the actual possession of the City staff prior to the Bid Deadline. Late Bids shall not be considered. Bids received by the Bid Deadline shall be publicly opened and the Bid Price read. Emailed or faxed bids will also NOT be accepted. If unable to attend pre bid , please contact the Superintendent of Solid Waste, at 816-969-1981, for a mutually agreed upon time to see the site prior to bid deadline. NOTE: It is a REQUIREMENT of bid submittal to see the site prior to submitting a bid. The City of Lee's Summit reserves the right to amend the solicitation schedule as necessary.
