As of 06/16/2022 No body bids on the project and will not go for rebid, instead it will go to a different route. Construction of new concession building consisting of concession room, restrooms, and storage room. Work includes grading, concrete foundations, CMU walls, wood trusses, plywood roof decking, metal roofing, fiber cement siding / trim, fiberglass doors / frames, coiling shutter and toilet accessories, and MPE systems. Work also includes surface prep, crack repair and new track coating. Direct Purchase Orders: Contractor to identify material items for direct purchase orders through the Owner of value +/- $5,000.00. Contractor to coordinate and facilitate purchase with the Owner. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bids not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The bond shall cover the entire base bid cost and any accepted alternates. B. Prevailing wage rates will not apply to this project.
