Renovation of a water / sewer project in Norman, Oklahoma. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The existing influent pipe for filters 1-4 is required to prpovide water from the clarifiers as a part of the treatment process for the plant.The existing 42-inch pipe is steel and has shown signs of deterioration and has been repaired previously.However, due to the critical nature of this facility it is recommended that the pipe be inspected to determine the extent of the deterioration so that repairs, if necessary, can be prioritized with other capital improvement needs. This project is in included in the City of Norman FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 28, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
