Renovation of a museum in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,000-square-foot museum.

The State Preservation Board (SPB) is requesting bids from qualified vendors to demolish and dispose of existing carpet, and install new carpet in Herzstein Hall, an approximately seven thousand square foot (7,000sf) room inside the Bullock Texas State History Museum. Services include scraping of old adhesive and floor prep to skim coat old adhesive as needed. One (1) approximately twelve-foot (12') transition strip needed at gallery exit to back of house and two (2) three-foot (3') transitions needed at door openings. No baseboard is required. All questions pertaining to this IFB may be directed to SPB.Bids@tspb.texas.gov and must be received by 5PM, CT, June 2, 2022. All services may be performed during normal business hours (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM) and must be performed between August 18 - 26, 2022 when Herzstein Hall will be unoccupied. The SPB reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any bid, waive minor technicalities and award the bid to best serve the interests of the State *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
