Site work for a water / sewer project in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 2, 2022, project was awarded to H. G. Reynolds, Co., Inc, awarded amount is $1,620,051.12. The principal work to be performed under this contract in both Phase I and Phase II consists of, but not limited to improvement of the following: 3,767 LF of 16" PVC Waterline 320 LF of 16" PVC Fusible Waterline Pavement Restoration 3 EA 16" Gate Valves with Box 3 EA Fire Hydrant Assemblies 3 EA 3" Air Release Valve Assemblies 1 EA 16" Wet Tap Tee/Valve Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid.
