Construction shall include, grinding, asphalt paving, ADA concrete improvements, adjustment of existing sewer and storm drain manholes, water valves to finish grade, installation of new traffic signal loop detectors, traffic signal modifications, new traffic signal cable and new loop amplifiers within the existing traffic signal controller cabinet, removal and replacement of existing traffic signal loops, application of new traffic markings and signs to current MUTCD standards. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the City of Clovis is implementing new Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). Section 2, "Proposal Requirements and Conditions," under subsection titled "Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE)" and Section 5, "General," under subsection titled "Performance of Subcontractors" of these special provisions cover the DBE requirements.
