Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mexico Beach, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of September 1, 2022, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. The project includes the addition of diesel-powered bypass pump(s) to the city s existing lift stations #9, #11 and #13. The completion date for this project will be 100 days for Substantial Completion and 120 days for Final Completion from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $100.00 per day Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to David Reisen, Dewberry, at dreisen@dewberry.com no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Time on June 23rd, 2022. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The City of Mexico Beach is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Mexico Beach reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All bids shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening.
