The Village of Carpentersville invites sealed proposals for the collection and disposal of solid waste, landscape waste, and recyclables in the Village from all single-family residences and possibly one condominium residential dwelling, as well as several governmental properties located in the Village. The Village has prepared this request for proposals and intends to enter into a contract with the successful contractor for performance of the work. The Request for Proposals shall be a part of the contract. Each contractor shall carefully examine the proposal document before submitting a proposal. Each Contractor's Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Security Deposit in the Amount of $25,000 and in the Form of (I) a Cashier's Check or Certified Check Drawn on a Solvent Financial Institution Insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or National Credit Union Administration and Payable Without Condition to the Village of Carpentersville The Village Desires to Enter Into a Contract for a Five (5) Year Period Beginning August 1, 2022 With an Option, Subject to the Approval of the Contractor and the Village, to Extend for Up to Three Additional One-year Periods, for the Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste, Landscape Waste, and Recyclables as Defined Herein.
