This project provides for the rehabilitation of the Fleur Drive Bridge over the Raccoon River. Work on the rehabilitation of the bridge over the Des Moines River is anticipated to the replacement of the north bridge span over the railroad tracks. The cross section of the bridge will be coordinated with the improvements to the 18th Street and Locust Street Improvements. A consultant will be utilized for design and construction phase services. This project is included in the city’s fy 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program. As of December 10, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
