This solicitation has been designated as a Small Business Prime (SB Prime) set-aside issued in accordance with Metro's Small Business Prime (Set-Aside) Implementation Policy and Procedures. Metro is acquiring commercial items; or other supplies or services on the basis of reasonably definite specifications and the contracting officer can establish fair and reasonable prices at the outset I. GOAL The purpose of this project is to provide a network connectivity to all communication equipment on platform for Expo Line Aerial Stations (La Brea, La Cienega and Culver City) and Pasadena Gold Line (Chinatown and Sierra Madre Villa) to replace existing analog cameras with new IP cameras with addition of Network Video Recorders (storage). This communications network will serve the existing system and future upgrade of CCTV and Station ETEL. II. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work is to provide a work plan with sufficient details and instructions to assist Metro maintenance Metro to perform all installation) to achieve the following: 1) New rugged switches shall be installed in existing cabinets or communications room as per the design. 2) Replace existing analog cameras with new IP cameras. Any modifications to the locations of the cameras or addition/deletion of cameras shall be preapproved and determined by Metro. (Note: An entire upgrade of CCTV cameras for 100% coverage according to MRDC shall be performed in the future). 3) Pull CAT6, gamechanger cable or composite cable to all CCTV camera locations as per the design.
