Plant HVAC Improvement - Phase II The funding source for this project is WATER SRF The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, Plant HVAC Improvement - Phase II as follows: The Work generally includes the removal of two existing windows and replacement with new Aluminum Framed storefronts, the removal of existing window air conditioning units (11 total), and the installation of new air condition systems consisting of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) HVAC systems, energy recovery ventilators, and all associated piping, ductwork, controls, electrical power, wiring, and other appurtenances. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by City Utilities Engineering. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. Bidders will be charged a fee of $25.00 to submit a bid electronically. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond ana Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply wifh applicable laws and/or with fhe Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid.
