Site work and paving for a road / highway in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Proposers shall submit proposals in two (2) separate sealed envelopes (clearly marked 1. Technical & 2. Cost Proposal) as detailed in RFP. Proposals received in response to this RFP shall be rated based on the following criteria: Firms organization/Management Approach, Experience on similar projects, Approach to maintain schedule, Qualifications of key personnel and Cohesiveness of RFP response. This project is federally funded and requires a mandated Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation is a minimum of 13.23% participation. The process and any resulting contract shall first be reviewed by the Department of Transportation prior to use or execution. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with NJSA 19.44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. All Proposers shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, Ordinance No. 24 of 1993 and Executive Order No. 2 of 1994, which are available for inspection in the City Clerk's Office. The Council (as defined in Chapter 4 of the Administrative Code of the City (the "Code")) reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
