SECTION M - EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD THIS IS A INDIAN ECONOMIC ENTERPRISE (IEE) SET ASIDE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 36.204, DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IS ESTIMATED SHOULD BE IN THE FOLLOWING PRICE RANGE OF (d)BETWEEN $250,000.00 TO $500,000.00. CARPET REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH TILE IS REQIRED IN DORMS; BLDG 114 GOLDEN EAGLE LODGE AND BLDG 113 FOUR WINDS LODGE AT SIPI. Delivery: 120 Days After Notice to Proceed Delivery Location Code: 0009061837 BIE SOUTHWESTERN IND POLY INST 9169 Coors Rd NW ALBUQUERQUE NM 87120 US Period of Performance: 09/12/2022 to 01/27/2023 General Requirements 1. Introduction Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute has identified remodeling needs in residential halls (Golden Eagle Lodge and Four Winds Lodge). This service will require carpet removal/ceramic tile removal and install commercial grade vinyl luxury tile and cove base in buildings #113 and #114. 2. Location Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute is located at 9169 Coors Road, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Golden Eagle Lodge identified as building #114 and Four Winds Lodge identified as building #113. Direction: Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will oversee project and all correspondence will go directly through Contracting Officer for all approval. Changes to 'scope of work' will be directly brought to the attention of Contracting Officer. Contractor shall accept directions only from the Contracting Officer (CO) or the designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR). CO must be informed in writing of any changes to the scope of project other provisions within Scope of Work (SOW). 3.0 Performance Time Performance period associated with this project will be for 120 calendar days after final approval/issuance of purchase order. COR has the authority to revise purchase order as deemed necessary. Work to be completed from Monday - Friday. Government personnel will be present if contractor work to be completed during Government business time. 4.0 Progress Chart Work progress will be reported and submitted to COR for approval and updates of percentage of work completed will also be submitted with total cost. Dates of work started and completed will be given to COR for review and approval to ensure scheduled completion. Contractor shall commence work under this contract promptly, execute the work diligently, and achieve final completion and acceptance including final cleanup of the premises within the contract period specified and updated progress will be submitted with each payment estimate. Protection of Existing Facilities and Work: Facilities will be kept clean and free of damage from contractor. COR will be notified of any property damage from contractor. The Contractor shall be liable for the damages caused by the Contractor's negligent performance of any of the services furnished under this contract. SOLICITATION NO.: 140A2322Q0394 CARPET AND TILE REPLACEMENT AT SIPI P a g e 15 | 96 2.0 Scope of Work Contractor will provide/furnish adequate technical and coordinators to ensure scheduled completion of project as proposed. Background checks will be coordinated by COR before Contractor is allowed on campus. Appropriate documents will be provided by COR for immediate completion. A pre-planning meeting will occur before the Notice to Proceed is signed by contracting office which will consist of all parties involved in the contract. Assessment will be conducted on-site to determine conditions. All discrepancies/changes will be reported by Contractor to COR. Weekly completion schedule will be submitted to COR and percentage of project completion will be delivered to COR. Appropriate adjustments will be made based on submitted completion weekly schedule. Floors will be prepared by Contractor by removing existing carpet, cove base and ceramic tiles to include adhesive in both residential halls. SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) FEB 1995 The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
