Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project provides for the reconstruction of Fleur Drive currently planned from George Flagg Parkway to McKinley Avenue. The roadway will be improved to include full pavement reconstruction, sidewalk on both sides of the street, storm sewer improvements and new watermain. The first phase, which includes the northbound lanes from George Flagg Parkway to Watrous Avenue, has been completed. The second phase, which includes the southbound lanes from George Flagg Parkway to Watrous Avenue, is under construction and will be completed in 2023. The third phase is planned for late FY2023 and includes the reconstruction of all lanes from Watrous Avenue to McKinley Avenue. These projects also include improvements to the medians along Fleur Drive. The medians are funded from a separate Fleur Drive Median CIP sheet. This project is included in the city’s fy 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program.
