The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bidder's bond, made payable to the CITY OF BUELLTON for an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The CITY will deduct a five percent (5%) retention from all progress payments as specified in C7- MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT. The contract will not be awarded to a Contractor who does not hold a valid Class "A", or "C-32" license in accordance with the provisions of the Business and Professions Code.
