Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Minooka, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Work done under this item shall consist of concrete saw cutting (SEE SCHEDULE OF PRICES CONTRACT) of village-owned sidewalks for the purpose of removing sidewalk trip hazards at 572 locations throughout the Village that will consist of 2,288 feet of linear cuts. No sidewalk grinding will be allowed. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and facilities necessary and proper to complete all work as indicated in the Bid Documents. The successful contractor is expected to begin work within (10) days following award and execution of the contract. The completion of the project in its entirety is to be October 30, 2022. Failure to meet deadline the contractor shall be liable to the Village for One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per calendar day as liquidated damages, for each calendar day outside of this specified time frame.
